At our agency, we believe that doing the right thing is the foundation of quality care. Our Compliance Program helps ensure that we follow all federal, state, and local laws while always putting our patients first. It is in place to protect patients, prevent fraud or abuse, and make sure that care is delivered in a safe and ethical way.
Our Compliance team help guide our staff and vendors, so they have the knowledge and tools to care for our patients responsibly. This includes:
Open Communication – Ensuring that all staff, vendors, patients and their family members have multiple avenues to contact the Compliance Department to ask questions, seek guidance, voice concerns, and report potential violations.
Clear Standards – We create and implement policies that reflect the federal, state, and local regulations governing home health care, making them clear and easy to follow.
Staff Education – Our team is regularly trained so they stay up to date on laws, regulations, and best practices in patient care.
Speaking Up Without Fear – We encourage everyone (staff, patients, and families) to speak up if something doesn’t seem right. Anyone can report concerns or ask questions without fear of retaliation or intimidation.
Confidential Reporting –We have an anonymous Compliance Hotline available 24/7 at (718) 819-5698. All calls are confidential, and identifying information is not required.
